Pumpkin Picking

We went pumpkin picking and really enjoyed being outside with Madison this weekend. It was so much fun to see the world through her eyes. Even though I know that she won't remember her first trip to the pumpkin patch (I guess second since she was in-utero last trip) being there with her made it even more enjoyable for me. I really love my little family!

My little girl is growing up!

I can't believe how fast the time goes by. I was at work yesterday, and Shane was at home with Madison. When I got home, Shane told me that Madison can now move. She loves to play in her exasaucer, reaching out to play with all of the toys, well before I would have to move the seat so that she can get to the toys behind her. Not any more, she can now turn herself around and get to the toys on her own. It is so fun to see the world through her eyes. Even the slightest thing can send her into a fit of giggles.

So much has happened!

As you can see, Madison who wasn't even born the last time I posted is growing fast. She will be 16 weeks tomorrow (wow how the time flies)! She knows how to roll over both from her back to her tummy and her tummy to her back. She is such a happy baby, and sleeps through the night most nights. I Love being a Mom, and have found that the most rewarding thing can do, is walk into her room in the morning and look at her smiling face. I went back to work last week, which was hard, but Madison loves the time with her Daddy. I will work on posting more often...wish me luck.

AND IT'S A.....Girl

So I know that it has been forever since I have posted anything but this is our new big exciting news. Our baby the one referred to as "it", "the baby", or "the alien" is officially a SHE! I am so excited all I can think about is pink and frills and dresses oh my! As soon as we found out, Shane and I went shopping for the purpose of getting an outfit to bring our little girl home in and of course I had to come out with the cutest ever dress. I'll post a picture once I get it on my computer! I thought maybe Shane would be disappointed with a girl, but he never even missed a beat, that is until I asked him how he was going to deal with enough shoes for two women in his house!

Hurry up Groundhogs Day

So I feel like a little kid patiently (or not) waiting for Groundhogs Day to arrive. First off let me say that I don't want a single shadow to be seen I know being in Washington you could say what winter, but still I want spring to arrive. I look forward to laying out on the grass and have the sun shinning and if that groundhog sees its shadow by golly I'll have to wait longer. As if the anticipation of spring wasn't enough, we will know if this little one is going to be a boy or a girl remember think pink, and I'll let everyone know as soon as we know...like I said hurry up Groundhogs Day!!
